I have question on this subject, using Linux-Mandrake DHCP asks for hostname + domain. What is hostname exactly??

In Windows, @Home uses only this info:
User name: CC#####-a
WorkGroup: @Home
E-mail: TheePres@Home.com

Would CC####-a or TheePres be my hostname?
