If it's already formatted, set the boot menu to The Hard Drive first. If it finds it it should continue on setting up windows. It sounds like it's not finding the Hard drive on reboot.

The hard drive your OS is going on to, has to be in the boot menu in the bios or it won't be found at boot.

If your boot order is set to
1: CD drive
2: Hard Drive 0

If you have more than one H.D. make sure you have the one with the OS selected. EG: Hard Drive 0.

you should get a menu selection at boot
" Press any key to boot from cd drive "
Or you leave it and it should boot to the hard drive.

Do you have access to another computer. Burn a copy of your windows disk [ backup copy] If it will allow itself to be burnt [ not too damaged ]
Use the burnt copy to install. It's serial number will be the same.
