I understand everything you have mentioned, but here is my problem...I had an ME box that went up in flames, but left me with a usable hard drive with priceless data on it. Some of that data is operating system specific...in other words, it won't transfer to XP os's.

I was wondering if there were any issues with ME and the new cash, or maybe the Northwood MB drivers, or anything else.

I guess I will just clone the old drive, and use the clone to install into the new box, and see what detects, and what can be manually installed.
