I pulled the accessory/lighter fuse and put the fuse-strip in it. I put the 15A fuse in the primary position and a 3A fuse in the secondary. The power pack from the detector has its own 1A fuse in it. After lots of body contortions, I got it in and tied down all the excess wire with zip ties. Looks good. I wish I could have gotten black cable. All I could find was white. But it was ultra thin cable, thinner than a business card. I just need to hide a bit more of it in the A-pillar. Very stealthy - you wouldn't notice the remote display sitting in front of the speedo.
