A quote form Via's FAQ: 6) I’m not having any problems with my VIA chipset based motherboard. Should I update to the newest 4-in-1 drivers?

A- Do not update 4-in-1 drivers if your system is running trouble free.

Sometimes just too much trouble hacking to get them to run right and then you might lose performace.
