Just got my new computer from the store set up for some raid 0 action , with abit kt7-raid and two Ibm Deskstar. When looking in HPT370 bios it says
primary master raid 0 array #0 udma5 30 boot
primary slave raid 0 array #0 udma5 30 hidden
secondary master no drive.....
secondary slave no drive..
Iīve read the manual but its not that clear (my opinion) but...
Shouldnīt the two HD be set to primary masters and secondary master? And connected to the HTP370
IDE 3 AND 4?
I have phoned the store but couldnīt get in contact whith the builder. The guy I spoke to belive both HD are connected to IDE 3.
If my suspicion is right, is it just to buy a ultra ata/66 cable and then connect to IDE 3 and 4, and make the slave HD to master, and thats it??
