Well it just so happens they call me a tight ass for good reason.
I have used Ghost2000 for many years and find it an invaluable too.
I think they got bought out and the version upgraded to accomodate SATA - however the old version doesnt recognise SATA anbled systems and hangs up after you type in a:/GHOST.
So they want me to buy an new copy.
As I want to make a copy of my core Hard Disk - system etc. and it's an IDE - (not too worried about performance on my HTPC) if I could trick the BIOS into thinking there isnt any SATA capability on my mobo then GHOST may boot...
Any ideas?
I think my mobo is an ASUS P800 or something but will confirm when I get home.
