I say modern, because everytime I ask questions or some people who are AMD freaks (not a bad thing) I get "thats the old chipset" or... this is better, etc.

I want to build a 3GHz Q-core with DDR3 mem. (hopefully). I could use some advice on mobo, case/ps, etc. Will be used for video editing, photoshop, and gaming I am "sure" at some point. Audio capabilities are not that big of a deal, I have a decent set of speakers, but I am not an audiophile. Any suggestions?

Been looking around newegg, but reviews are all over the place.
