yup, I kinda shudder a bit with the, err, patch/fix/keygen downloads and AV turned off, but sometimes it is necessary......
one must remember to deal with good websites that have upstanding hackers, ones that don't infect....I know, I know, sounds kinds weird, but it is what it is.....I found one that fills the bill....they actually prescreen and test the the 'stuff' not meant for normal consumer consumption to keep real 'viri' at bay, LOL....and are on the rippin' edge for almost anything.......
Oh, back to the subject, never got an ACTUAL viri through this website, just the normal AV interference if turned on as a lot of AV vendors are now on the payroll for many companies that want to stop the, for lack of a better word, permanent 'borrowing' of softwares without proper payment.....LOL....
At least with AVG you can choose to be a 'power user' when stuffs show up you know are false positives....
The games we play are evolving....
