Cons.. you shouldn't have to do anything as long as DHCP is enabled on your puters. Most routers are PnP now and all you do is connect them to the modem / whatever internet connection you have and you should be up and running.

Most you might need to do is run ipconfig all to release and renew the WAN connection.
