Subject: IDE Blu Ray just stopped working???

I was using my IDE Pioneer BD-101 burner for a CD drive....loading up new Vid drivers etc for my system install ...
I rebooted and when I click on the BD drive from Exploring .....it says "Enter disk"....I eject the disk and reinsert.....it doesnt spin up like a newly entered CD would....
I click on disk in exploring...."enter disk"....
I shutdown and swap over to a Pioneer DVD Burner ...reboot ....drive works fine......reads the CD.
I shutdown and swap back over to BD.....doesnt work.....same message "enter disk".
I go to extremes.....
I format c: and reinstall XP from the DVD burner and just before the Vid drivers install.....shutdown and swap back over to BD.....reboot to XP and try the BD drive with CD inside ....nothing.....
Shutdown and swap over to DVD....fine.....
hmmmm.....
any ideas?
