Hi everyone.

I had a weird problem with an Intel Pentium D 3.4 Dual Core cooler (stock). A while ago it was working at 4300 r.p.m. aprox. and making a very annoying sound when reaching a higher speed, but last week it wouldn't go faster than 2500 and the CPU temp. was reaching close to 90-100 deg. (celsius) within one or two minutes and then shuted itself down. My first guess was that something happened with the silicone grease, so i cleaned it and put a fresh layer. Now it's kinda stable, but i still cannot run heavy applications or use D.O.T. either. Should i change the cooler?, which would you recommend if that were the case?

Thanks!
