There seems to be plenty of apps and tools these days.I,ve Mandriva 2006 installed;It,s install is easy[if you can call it that] as windows these days.and it comes with an impressive array of programs and installers etc.for configuring networks etc.
It,s setup in a dual boot way.I can see all my Win partitions;import and export between the two systems ,and i recently downloaded a copy of Wine[4 running win stuff in linux] ;which appears to be getting easier to use.Haven,t installed it yet ,but shall do soon.
I want to try and set it up as a server and then use it to feed my net connection to my network of boxes.
With all the virtual PC stuff around ,it should be easier to work in cross platform environments,these days.
