difficult to say what exactly it is because you don't tell us what kind of motherboard it is and what type of controller you are trying to connect to but since you can't access any of the drives on the SATA onterface it appears as if you need to reinstall the necessary drivers.

Else, there is a possibility that you need to activate the drive in the control panel / admin tools / computer management / storage
