I am looking to build a system. I am thinking about spending $1000, and not much more.

Things I won't compromise are:

AMD 64x2 CPU
ATI AIW
2GB RAM (at least)
No less than 0.5TB of storage
DVD-RW Dual-layer burner

If anyone has some advice on the mobo, storage options, that would be great!

I will probably want to do a mirror, if feasable, with 2x500GB drives.

I am not into flash, so a graybox is fine.
