whoa, 428 tunnelram dual four barrel!!!
i did a wild conversion back in the early seventies, nestled a GT500 428CI with the dual four barrels and close ratio 4 speed in a 1960 Ford Starliner 2door hardtop. Pretty simple bolt in except for the headers...........
Had her to 170MPH ONE TIME ONLY on the freeway, it had long rear gears (2.83), ran the quarter mile in 12.06, 106MPH, only made one shift, from first to second.
Tried 4.56 rear gear, but never got to the drags with it, the gears started whining almost immediately, and I had to yank them, and being young and poor.............
Flat out scarey fast...........
