I once was driving a 3 wheeler & grazed a log in the weeds torn off my shoe & didnt hurt my foot at all.
Another time I fell asleep in a car in spring type weather wearing a jacket & woke up in a snow storm. I had to walk about a mile to find a warm place to stay for awhile. I shivered very bad & one of my nipples hurt for around 9 months. The one & only time I ever ran away. With you being wet it must have been much worst.
Your lucky they did not have to turn you into a six million dollar borg :>)
