I had an SATA adapter power plug to standard HD power plug. I Hot glued the data plus to the HD & to the power plug (which is a short adaptor now). The drive is working fine now all the way into XP & will be safe to install, plus I still can remove & put the HD any where I want. About time a break. Bob
