& cheching into chipset coolers some more I found a cheap H/S (thou not a cheap price) from compusa that uses the plastic pins & I can use the A/S stuff you & baldy recommened that I already have. I wanted to finish up tomorrow & my north bridge orginal H/S ran cool (fan from CPU ?) & the south bridge cooked my finger so I will put this new H/S on the south bridge only with some fins cut off, which is like the orginal north bridge H/S anyways. If I find a good copper H/S for the NB at a good deal later I will change it then. I want to get this over with.
BTW I did not see MS article you linked to but I remember the the one with a bunch of drill holes in it. I did consider the method before going the way I did & I just got home with the new H/S & found this posting LoL.
