i understand the warranty thing, specially if you are getting OEM.............
i have to apologise, many parts hanging around all over the place here, i have to realize that most users don't have an 'inventory' to go to, most of the time when i upgrade it is either a only a CPU, only a MB, only a vid card, just the ram, and so on...............
the only reason i am kinda pushing you is the urgency, especially in the CPU department, as you have found out..........the suckers ARE kinda drying up now as speculated, the prices have risen (damn ol supply and demand at work) and your delays in making sure you have all the 'perfect parts' is costing you $$$ and a lot o time..........
granted, more of these 939 Opterons may be coming down the pike at a price, AMD seems to be steering people to the 940 Opty with the drying up of the 939 beauties to retail (really good performance for much less $$$) that clock and embarass AMD's more expensive brethren.........................
now you are playing the waiting game and you are totally at the mercy of the vendors involved......
i hope you can get this all worked out soon...
