Ya when I went back & seen one of your old posts I caught the model of your CPU the 146, my orginal way I had to check the #'s was thru the CPU's that were left & being sold thru monarch & newegg, pricewatch. Somehow I crossed 146 with 940 pins. Since then thou I found a nearly complete list that explained much, thou the ECC part of that list is a mistake ?. Link is below
ECC DRAM protection Yes
So everything else but the ECC is clear .

We need to did into the dual core opteron locked or unlocked.
