First off if you run into bad HD's alot I recommend Spin Rite it recovers or replaces sectors/clusters. Its like winblows surface scan. I have the older version (no ntfs which I dont use yet) as I never got around to upgrade my 5.0 to 6.0 yet.
In the past I hated ontrack, I have a seagate HD 160 GB dual boot 98,xp. I ghost the two seperate halfs once in a while been along time thou & I have had no problems. The small ghost program I like to use will not handle the 160 GB HD as one as the new ghost is hugh & used thru winblows OS which to me is an Oxy Moron.
I do not know of a good file defragger program all the ones I have tried suck bad, one is only alittle better. I liked nortons in the past but they want to control everything nowdays & that is what the OS is supposed to do.
Bob
