I agree is the CPU & Video card free of dust build up under the fans ?
Are all the fans working ?
The problem is both the MoBo & CPU will give you the same problems if they go bad. Also a video card can cause the same problems of freezing, big power eater & fed thru the MoBo.
This is where having a second system to test which part is bad really helps out. I have seen a cheap PSU break two MoBo's, replaced MoBo only & broke again after 6 months. If you really had it narrowed down to the CPU & MoBo the money normally would goto the CPU being bad, only the CPU you have is a lowwer model(Celeron)equals less heat & to boot I dont know the track record of that speed CPU.
