Actually I believe ASUS started the whole Keyboard on thingy with a jumper they put on their Socket 7 mobo and then others followed the idea...It's since progressed to just arranging it in the BIOS so look in there and set it.
I have run into a few Mobo's whose claime ran short and either had to be fixed with 1 BIOS update.

PS ...if you'd slack down on the pron you'd prolly have a lot more space on the HD
