If they had done this right so it worked, was fast & could grow in the future I would have been all over this one. I payed $1300 for 32 MB's of RAM back in 92, expandable to 46 MB's too. Hard drives were smaller storage & very noisy so the trick was games were zipped up, which zipped & unzipped on the ramdrive was the quickest way. Then turn off the Hard Drives & you was in gaming heaven. Wing Commander was the best thou it worked alittle to fast on the best CPU & MoBo back then, no timing loops so worked full throttle. After a short adjusting period it was better faster, only with these new super CPU's we have nowdays I would not attemp to play that old game with the cache turned on. I still have every version of Wing commander made that I know of.
