Actually the Kingston Ram is still cheaper than it was when I bought the last 512 meg stick for this computer. I bought a 512 meg stick for Annie's of Crucial for $45.00 so still much cheaper than it was. Kingston was close to the same price maybe a $1.00 or two higher.

Older video cards are still right pricey and not all are available. The FX5500 I got for Annie is $65.00 (Chaintech 256 meg) which wasn't too bad, It'll be fine for her and much better than the 64 meg Kryo II she had before. But a 9800XT is still a bit much in my book.
