I've pretty much decided to get the Sempron 2800+,
socket 754. It has the 256 meg cache on it which is the same size as my XP2200+ Thoroughbred. So it should be more than enough for her. Sims2 is the only game she plays. Thought I'd also get her an FX5500 256 meg video card. In my budget range and it'll handle the game ok. I've found a SIS chipset Socket 754 MB and then I need 512 meg PC3200 ram.
Just have to get ahold of them before I order this stuff and then they say no I don't want that.
