Those are good points. Unfortunately, the amplifier design and power supply circuitry I'm working with won't handle 2-ohm loads, gotta be 4-ohm (~400W) or 8-ohm (~275W).

Say, is that an old upright speaker cabinet with end-table legs screwed on?
