Silver Surfer had some free time so I asked him to do a search on the JD 110.
Here's what he found:
The 110 was the first entry into the L$G market for JD and it seems to be a collectors item with asking prices going as high as $2K even in your neck of the woods.

Your 110 has to be a 66 or newer (made up to 74 with 66 the first year the hydraulic lift was offered as a option) and could fetch more than you had in mind, as some of these collectors really have the fever. Need serial # located on dash plate next to ignition switch as well as serial on engine plate.
A blinding flash in cyber space,
Figment of your imagination?
He rides the web surf with grace,
And delivers the information.
