I still have my old 286 it ran at 16 or 20 MHz before depending on which crystal I have plugged in.
The 20 MHz no longer runs, that MoBo also held a whooping 8 MB of ram I think, its was double the norm anyways. Yes they were not cheap & I did like special MoBo's back then. My next real computer was a 486 50 MHz not doubled & held 64 MB of ram thou at first I only had 32 MB's, 32MB's cost me $1300. With both computers my Ramdrives were just big enuf to hold the lastest version of my favorite game Wing Commander, very fast, smooth & quiet I turned off the HD's.
