System Properties, then the "Advanced" tag, and down under the Startup & Recovery entry is a "Settings" button.
1. Uncheck the 'Automatically Restart' box if you want the computer to stall at the BSOD.
2. Change the "Write Debugging Information" option to "Kernel Memory Dump" or "Complete Memory Dump" if you want extra details, and set the desired destination directory if you want the logfile to land in a place other than n:\WINDOWS\.
If this happens very often, you've probably got either a buggy device driver somewhere, or a pending hardware failure.
