Now that AMD CPU's have the heat spreader and it's nigh impossible to crunch the die like the 32-bit XP's, I don't think it's that big a deal anymore.

Anyway, it's too late now. Newegg has shipped it already and it's on its way

I don't know about the current 64's, but AMD's retail heatsinks for the 32-bitters were loud. Bleh. None of that in my computer
