Ya the floresecent bulb replacements that first came out didnt seem to last as long as they should, I think the eletronics packed in to the base was giving out early, I busted one open to check it out. The newest batch I got was from SAMS club (a wholesale bulb food place in this area) & they are great, even lasting for awhile under the stove. I never had one not work out of the box. Also some of the bulbs claime so many years but if you read the fine print thats based on from 2 to 6 hours a night.
That 220 light bulb was big & ugly was it not ?
Like it could not be used everywhere.
I was also thinking like regular streetlights they dont use much power, but the light is very ugly something you would not use in a house LoL.
