Its just I had heard & read that too many people were have way to much trouble installing SE. Also both orginals 98's I have were a seperate gift.
I should add that they were trouble installing to.
I found the problem & it was the RamDrive the floppy install used, was basic system stuff.
I had DOS 6.2 installed at that time & didnt want to lose it. I lost the 6.22 since then but I find I dont miss it much 7.1 is find. I only use a few programs from DOS now.
