Bummer.
On my current model MoBo NF2 I used the built in flash & it used the floppy & completed & said it was OK then never rebooted again. First flash I ever lost. Thats how I ended up with the pickier IDE MoBo the first one was better from the start & I broke it. Then the current MoBo got worst over time.
I liked the old days thou UV proms could just break, I kept BIOS backups on PROMs if the new BIOS sucked for some reason you could just plop the old one back in to. I had the eprom burner along time & modified it to do larger chips as time moved on. Just programed 2 or 4 or 8 seperate banks at a time. So aways I had old backups & newer ones to & could make more if need be. Pull one out & put in a different one. It also was easy to make some changes if you wanted to straight text & machine language. Thou I really did very little change.
Bob
