Yeah, XP has the drivers included but you should be able to load a driver from Panasonic (which seems to be universal and chipset independent) and access the pen drive from 98 but not the scanner. The USB controlers on your mobo have their own specifications that they must adhere to and it should really have nothing to do with Nvidia as they have to follow the standard.

I don't have 98 on my system right now or I'd test a solution for you on the pen drive.
