I hate WD as the setting master single drive & master dual drive, has bit me in the ass twice now. Also the newest HD I got was an 80 gig WD & I did not open box for months & in two days the drive went from an ATA133 to an ATA100. I yanked it out of my system & thats what I use now to back up both 40 GB HD I use. I can not wait to see what the new SATA II full blow drives can do with real world raid. From my little bit of reading I am not sure SAS (SCSI SATA) will be all that much faster either.
