I need my virual memory set higher the what they recommend. My ram is 768 MB & I have custom user setting at 2 gigs & saids I have 1151 MB right now with a min. of 2 meg & will not let me change it. I even forced a reboot & always goes back to what it wants. In my photo editing this is slowing the computer way down even claiming its out of memory, even crashing it sometimes.

This is a very large color photo & high res. bitmap I am working on. I think XP is to blame with its memory handling.

I even get XP's Photo print wizard to either crash or spit out a blank page. Fixed by going back & saving it the color photo off in grayscale.
The more I learn about XP the less I like it.
