BTW what series chips are you using ?, as they vary alot.
I have the PICSTART Plus development programmer & I have worked with 6 to 14 pin DIP chips. Some with flash memory & some without & I was playing with LED's & want to do LCD's to do an alarm clock. They are very different then the micro controllers from the past & I am using the built in assembly lauguage still like the old days.
