Well, I rescued the site about this time last year. I had been contracted to help the owner of cown (click on world network). I found the site dead, at the time I didn't even know how long it had been dead, but figured it would be fun to bring it back up. So I registered clickoncpu.com which had expired months earlier and renewed the just expired cpu-central.com under the old owner at my own expense. The owner of cown didn't even know until just a couple months ago that I had done so, turns out he didn't paticularily care - he's not much of a techie. Oh, and he never paid me for half the work I did for him, but he still calls me once in a while promising to pay and asking for me to do some small maintence jobs. He's my token charity case.

Now that it looks certain that cpu-central.com will be deleted, I can be more chatty.

I'm a computer tech, have a degree in computer engineering (University class of 91'). Spent 6 years in the military. Got out worked as a electronics tech for a few years. Then went back to school and got a certificate in systems engineering, and my MCSE. I then worked my way from the ground floor up to Director of Information Services for a Tech company which I left in 2003 to start my own consulting company. And that's where I'm at now.
