Have you seen this samples?
Almost any TFT-TV or TFT monitor could show 1280 x 720 (720p) and CRT's too ;o)
So HDTV has alreaddy come in by a kind off backdoor!
With nextgen DVD/RW (Blue-Ray etc.) we willsee lots of HD-DVD's. So Broadcast isn't that much important. There is a revolution going on!
Watching this clips is astonishing ;o)
There is a special HD-DVD version of the Lara Croft in a special promotionbox. Awsome details and native 16:9.
It's easy to watch by a powerfull pc.
And the first HD-DVD players are just available in germany for almost nothing (150€!)
