hmm... ok xp seems to have installed smoothly....
did a crap load of windows update (NOT sp2 tho)
installed norton 2004... man I hate how much norton slows down windows.
let it update itself ....
man now I'm all paranoid waiting for it to do something bad
So now I'm wondering whether I should mess with video drivers...
I have a first generation radeon, 32mb, before they had model numbers.
Ever since the catalyst drivers, it always showed up as a Radeon 7200 in the device manager.
If I recall right too... I always got some error message after running the driver install program... but then was able to ignore it.
I think the driver that came with windows was lacking openGL support or something. But at this point I don't know how much gaming I'm going to attempt on it. That computer is turning into more and more of a internet/word processing type computer
