Weird stuff.... Quite honestly, I don't know anything about this other than that there used to be squealing noises that were part of the Winstone benchmarks and happened a lot with repeated memory accesses.. even if there was no sound enabled on the board.

My wife complained all the time about it and the cats went nuts.
