I just went out and got a ECS - k7a pro Motherboard and amd 2400 xp cpu..
Now I have not got my DDR 2100 (233?) Ram as of yet.I plan to get 2x 256 sticks..
Right now I have 2 128 sticks of SDRAM @ pc133..
Now when I run the comp @ 2400 it is not stable..it will just lock up on me..It's more stable @ 1800 and it does lock up if I don't do to much with it..like today I was doing a speed disk and the screen saver came on the entire machine locked up..I had to do a hard reboot..
I'm using windows xp pro..
I dunno what the issus may be..The cpu isnt hot or anything.right now with the side panel on the temp @1800 mhz is 25 celuis..With the side panel off it runs 2 degres cooler..@ 23 degres.
