Now that we are back for awhile & I will be around more. My life has changed alot this last year. Like as of Nov 15 I am retired @ the young age of 50, my wife still works as she makes good money but no retirement plan. I got out of the computer growing LAN setup I had going 8 was the max, not including the wifes & stepsons or anything slower then 700 MHz. I have MoBo's & CPU laying around. Updating the video cards & CPU's would be a waste of money for the gains as the newer games will need much more power.
I had ideas of selling computer stuff thru a shop or @ swaps but there is no money in it around the detroit area surburbs. Building the LAN up made me realize fixing computers is an *itch & when there is any kind of new problems you get called right away. The only option I have left is opening a LAN gaming place & I am still thinking that one over.
My new focus is upgrading my own main computer an AMD 2100+ for myself as I will wait @ least one year for all the new cool stuff that is coming, then I will start from scratch again. I have not kept up with the growing # of CPU's & chipsets & MoBo's
One thing about retirement you sure learn how to waste time. For now I bowl alot, watch alot of TV, shop & fix things, clean house somewhat. I also have played alot of euchre online. I also have kicked in my creative dreaming, I like to create things & sometimes build them LoL.
