I just want to be able to save TV shows on my computer as MPEGs and play them back on the computer. I don't see myself connecting my computer up to a TV just to watch a recorded show. It looks better on my PC (I live alone, remember) and I'd rather save up for a nice plasma display to replace the 22" Viewsonic
