Will Windows ME run ok on a P 4 2 gig Northwood machine (DDR ram) ?

I have an existing hard drive I need to get running from a 1.7 gig machine and I was wondering if there were any issues, drivers etc. that could screw me up if I tried to just swap it in.... The Northwood machine came with XP thanks in advance !!!
