Well, if you're seriously interested, none of those things have to be hindrances. If you've got a day off sometime, you might still want to call a community college and chat with a guidance counselor, that much is usually free.

They can lay out what kind of courses you would need to take, how much it would cost, what kind of financial aid would be available to you based on personal income and family educational history, things like that
