In theory, that system will at least take up to a 1GHz PIII, and possibly a Celeron in the same speed range. Your best bet is to look through the system documentation, if you have it, and see if it imposes any limiatations.

You're not going to see a significant speed jump, though, unless you're already running software that is maxing out your current setup.

In either case a fast AthlonXP or Pentium4 system would be a better money investment IMHO.
