The upcoming Clawhammer/Sledgehammer products will basically rip Athlon XP and Petnium 4 a new asshole. If you need to get a new system RIGHT now (money is burning a hole in your pocket) then yeah.. I'd go with an Epox 8k3a (can do up to 2.2v, superb overclocking) and a 2200+..
